Fly Fishing Guide & Community Advocate
Will Percy
Will Percy has been fly fishing since the age of thirteen and has spent the past thirteen years deeply immersed in the sport, its traditions, and the communities that surround it. A passionate angler, fly tier, and educator, he has pursued various freshwater and saltwater species across waters in Belize, Spain, Ireland, Mexico, Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, as well as throughout the lower 48 states in the U.S. These experiences have shaped both his technical skillset and his appreciation for the diverse ecosystems that sustain the sport.
A graduate of Mac Brown's Fly Fishing Guide School in Bryson City, North Carolina, Will trained under Fly Fishers International Casting Masters, Team USA competitors and coaches, certified rowing instructors, and nationally recognized anglers. His training included guiding techniques, casting, river rescue, boating and rowing, client communication, and on-the-water safety. In 2024, he earned his Colorado Rowing Certification after completing extensive on-the-water instruction and testing.
Beyond guiding, Will is deeply committed to the fly fishing community and the sport's ability to positively impact people's lives. He has been involved with Project Healing Waters for over a decade and founded a local chapter in Northeast New Jersey dedicated to helping disabled veterans experience the therapeutic benefits of fly fishing. He remains active with Trout Unlimited, FFI, and Casting Carolinas — organizations that reflect his belief that the future of the sport depends on giving back to both the water and the people who need it most.
