Fly Fishing Guide School Gift Certificates
We do offer gift certificates for attending the best fly fishing guide school since 1987. Use the Book button link above or you may mail a deposit. You may set this up with the Reservation Form. These are popular throughout the year when a loved one helps to support a friend or relative in a new “dream job”. Many of the school graduates have taken week-long classes to improve their personal skills with no intention of guiding. The common thread is both are interested in learning more about fly fishing and improving their skills! Check out the team of instructors. Reservations for the Fly Fishing Guide School
Many of the courses fill months in advance, so make your plans very early for February, March, April, May, October, and November courses. There is a photographic release form and a typical Outdoor Recreation Waiver form to be electronically signed after you are registered.
If you call during the busy months make sure you leave a message with an evening phone number and how you found out about us. I am difficult to reach during the best fly fishing seasons. I return these promptly each day after I am off the water.

Fly Fishing Guide School Payment Policy
One-half deposit ($1,725) is to be mailed when you confirm the school date and the reservation form is sent. The remainder ($1725) is due a month in advance of your school date. The form only takes a few minutes and also helps us to get to know you! Confirmation will be sent by email when the check is received. You will also have a full itinerary for the week of fun and fly fishing! All returned checks are charged an additional $50.00 service fee.
We encourage you to secure trip insurance for your reservation as many have used it in the past (especially during Covid). This protects you from not only the school reservation but also additional travel expenses. It is common for the adventure travel industry to have customers secure trip insurance.
The overhead of food, lodging, and labor is necessary to have a strict policy on reservations without changing them around once booked. If it is a must to change your date we require a 50% coupon for future dates for the Fly Fishing Guide School. For example, if you had paid 50% already for school then you would pay the full price for a future date. If you were paid in full, then you would pay 50% for the future date.
Cancellations
We have always treated folks with the Golden Rule since 1987! I fully understand if cancellation is due to a medical condition, acts of God, and many other things. It is however at my discretion depending on these extenuating circumstances. If it is more than a month away then we can work to reschedule to another date that fits your time frame. The trip is charged in full if you cancel the trip within a month before the date of your trip in general. However, you may find an alternate to attend your class.
Dates are rarely canceled due to weather like rain, snow, cold, etc… because these end up oftentimes being the best fishing of the year! Be sure to dress appropriately for the weather. The school has the flexibility to work around weather patterns since there are many days for instruction.
